slant

Definition
  1. Something that slants is sloping, rather than horizontal or vertical.

  2. If something is on a slant, it is in a slanting position.

  3. If information or a system is slanted, it is made to show favour towards a particular group or opinion.

  4. A particular slant on a subject is a particular way of thinking about it, especially one that is unfair.

My sentence - The morning sun slanted through the roof.
